I adopted Vivian (formerly known as Charlie) on 1/24/2007. She was just a small kitten when I got her, she is almost all grown up now and has quite the personality. She hates to be alone, we are always together and she loves car rides. My fiance is in the Air Force and is currently stationed in Florida and she keeps me company for the 10 hour car ride there. I found out she was available for adoption on the website, I came to the shelter to see her and other cats, but I fell in love with her and had her the next day. She is very social and not shy at all. Whenever there are new people over, she greets them at the door. Sometimes I think she gets confused as to whether she is a cat or a dog. She loves other animals (at my parents house there are 3 cats and 2 dogs). Her favorite toy are my hair scrunchies, she has a basket of toys but enjoys collecting my scrunchies and hiding them throughout the house. She loves looking outside and cuddling. As soon as I walk in the door from school or work she is sitting near the door meowing until I pick her up. She loves to "groom" me to show affection. She has been a blessing to me and my fiance. I'm hoping to come visit the shelter soon and maybe find her a playmate.
